This group now maintains the eGRID dataset and is working in the open to merge USEEIO and CEDA — the two most widely used Scope 3 emissions models — into an open, best-in-class multiregional input-output model.

Climate change and a long history of suppression have made California vulnerable to explosive and disastrous wildfires. We evaluated where treating (removing) excess fuels has the greatest benefit-to-cost ratio. This tool shows per-km² costs and benefits of wildfire fuel treatment across the state, including the downwind health benefits of avoided smoke.
