Wesley Ingwersen
Research Engineer, Technical Director of the Cornerstone Sustainability Data Initiative
Wesley Ingwersen is a Research Engineer in the Sustainable Solutions Lab and serves as the Technical Director of the Cornerstone Sustainability Data Initiative.
Background
Wesley served as an Environmental Engineer in the US EPA’s Office of Research and Development from 2010–2025, developing methods, models, and tools for life cycle assessment and materials management. He led the development of the economy-wide model USEEIO for EPA, and helped establish the Technical Working Group for the Federal LCA Commons initiative and the Global Network of LCA Databases. He served as the technical expert on LCA for the US Department of State and the US Green Building Council.
Wesley earned a B.A. from Georgetown University and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Florida.
